Via Serendipity ridden by Adam Kirby kept well in touch in midfield and made a good effort 2 furlongs out. They closed the gap to chase the leaders and was driven just over 1 furlong out. Via Serendipity stayed on to lead inside the final furlong to win by 1 1/2 lengths.

Pinnata ridden by Sean Levey soon went in to the lead and was ridden and kicked on 2 furlongs out but was beaten by Via Serendipity by 1 1/2 length

Pactolus ridden by Oisin Murphy held up well to keep in touch in midfield but they did not have the clearest of runs 2 furlongs out. Pactolus made headway under pressure inside the final furlong but was beaten by 2 lengths
